Our Method

Braun Family Recruitment follows a structured and deliberate approach, focused on achieving a sustainable match between family and candidate. The process generally spans one to four months and is conducted with care and discretion, prioritising quality and long-term continuity over speed.

Paul Braun visits the client on site to discuss wishes, expectations and questions, while gaining a first-hand impression of the living or working environment. This meeting provides the foundation for assessing both the role and the personality required.

Following a positive initial meeting, a formal quotation is issued, setting out all terms, conditions, and costs. Once approved, an anonymous profile is prepared in consultation with the client and forms the basis for the recruitment process.

The search is conducted exclusively within our trusted network, focusing on experience and skills, but above all on personality, reliability, and cultural fit with the family.

An initial online interview is conducted by Paul Braun. Selected candidates are subsequently invited for a personal meeting. Only the most suitable candidates are presented to the client.

At the time of introduction, the client is provided with a complete candidate dossier, comprising:

  • Curriculum vitae and recent photographs
  • Verified references
  • Salary indication and availability
  • Social media review
  • A personal assessment by Paul Braun

Additional checks, such as a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), Credit Registration Office (BKR) check, or further security screening, can be arranged upon request.

Following a positive first meeting, a second interview may take place with additional family members or family advisors. On-site shadowing is recommended to ensure a realistic understanding of the working relationship. This phase is part of the total lead time of one to four months.

Paul Braun personally guides the entire process, from the initial consultation through to final placement. This guidance is included as part of the engagement. Following appointment, he remains available as a trusted advisor to both parties.

Compensation

Each recruitment assignment is tailored to the specific situation. The total fee is determined following a personal on-site consultation and set out in a clear, non-binding quotation.

This ensures full transparency from the start.

References & Anonymity

References from previous clients are available upon request. Strict confidentiality is maintained for both families and candidates until the client elects to proceed with interviews.
